EXPLORE was a FOUNDATIONS project delivered at HMP Five Wells in Wellingborough from March - May 2023. A group gathered weekly to explore their creativity through a variety of forms including improvisation, acting for screen and film directing. They brought these skills together to devise and film a short scene, under the guidance of Dorothy Allen Pickard.

The final week was an informal sharing and celebration in front of invited guests, other residents, and prison staff.

As with all FOUNDATIONS projects, the purpose of EXPLORE was to work with a process-focused, low-stakes approach that enabled everyone to join in at their own pace.
